HISTORIC FERNANDINA BEACH DOWNTOWN

Fernandina Beach is a Victorian seaport rich with tales of pirates, smugglers and gunrunners, and is the birthplace of the American shrimping industry. The original site of downtown Fernandina Beach was at the Old Town area, which is the last Spanish city platted in the Western Hemisphere and still exists today.
